About Games
Concept of the Phygital Games is to combine sport, cybersport and MR-technologies within the competition disciplines. The first new-format tournament featured four disciplines: phygital football, phygital basketball, beat saber, and drone racing.
In football and basketball, the athletes first tested their skills on the virtual platform and then proceeded with an in-person matchup in futsal and basketball 3*3 accordingly. Beat saber and drone racing themselves contain both physical and digital components.
The tournament became the first in the series of events in the run-up to the innovation large-scale Games of Future to be held in 2024 in Kazan.
