The Russia – Country of Sports International Forum is the largest platform for interaction between representatives of sports industry, established in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation dated July 27, 2009 No. 863. It took place on September 8-10 in Kazan. One of the largest international exhibition centers in Russia, Kazan Expo welcomed the Forum in 2021.
About Forum
The Russia – Country of Sports Forum is annually held in various cities of our country. Its history goes back to Kazan where the event debuted in 2009 in the run-up to the Summer Universiade 2013.
The Forum brings together Olympic champions, heads of the sectoral executive bodies of federal subjects of the Russian Federation, sports federations and sports venues, representatives of private business, journalists, and experts of sports industry. Besides the main programme, the forum embraces exhibitions, discussions, visits of eminent athletes, etc.
The Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation was acting as an organiser, the Directorate for Sports and Social Projects – as an executive organisation.
