The Russian Short Course Swimming Championship 2018 took place at the Aquatics Palace (70 Sibgata Khakima St.), Kazan on 7-12 November 2018. During six competition days, the nation’s best swimmers competed for medals in 46 events.
About tournament
The capital of Tatarstan hosted the Russian Short Course Swimming Championship for the fifth time. The tournament was organized with the support of the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation.
850 strongest swimmers from Russian regions took part in the tournament. 50 judges officiated the event.
The goal of the tournament was to select the best athletes to represent the Russian national team internationally and to prepare the reserve team of the Russian Federation.
