The Republiс of Tatarstan team was led by Tatarstan President, Rustam Minnikhanov. He played alongside such big-name veteran players as Aleksey Chupin, Dmitry Balmin, Evgeny Zakharov and other oldtimers of the Ak Bars HC. The Philadelphia Flyers HC team’s roster included Scott MacPherson, Al Secord, Bob Carpenter, Andrey Nikolishin and other stars.
