AP.Bren and ONIC took the first and the second places in YOTA Phygital MOBA. MLBB Tournament discipline and got the right to play in the show match. By excluding three available options, the team captains chose Laser Tag.
The match was unique apart from many other battles among competitors in Tactical Challenge at Games of the Future. The participants showed interesting tactical preparation and staged several spectacular shootouts. The match ended with the victory of AP.Bren with a score of 6:2.
Starting plan of AP.Bren was surprising, as they started in attack. Instead of a quick run around the map, the team slowly strolled around the nearby boxes. So, they took the first two rounds without a rush. After that, the game became more dynamic: ONIC changed the score, and then Marco Stephen “Super Marco” Requitiano from AP.Bren managed to protect the installed digital flame from two opponents.
The next round was a new scenario. The opponents staged a five-on-five shootout near B point, but AP.Bren were lucky again. After changing sides, ONIC won one round, but soon AP.Bren finished the match with the score of 6:2. The best players of the teams: Super Marco and Albert “ALBERTTT” Neilsen Iskandar from ONIC, who made nine frags each.
“We started preparing for the Laser Tag match in two weeks because we wanted to reach the finals. We tried to copy our strategies from digital shooters, so we replaced fast rounds with slow ones. Angelo Kyle “Pheww” Arcangel and I, as co-captain, are responsible for Laser Tag strategies, as well as in MLBB. We used our ability to stick together and pass information to each other from the game,” Michael Angelo “KyleTzy” Saison from AP.Bren. shared. “I really liked the concept of Laser Tag. Even though we are not that experienced, we tried and got understanding of the basic rules of the game.”
