The final of the 7th National Competition “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) took place in Kazan on 20-24 May 2019. Opening and closing ceremonies were held at the Tatneft Arena Sports Palace on May 20th and May 24th respectively. The competition period lasted from 21 to 23 May. The final of the 7th National Competition “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) took place at the venue of the upcoming 45th WorldSkills Competition – Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre.
1,519 young professionals from 85 Russian regions competed in 86 official, 6 exhibition and 48 junior skills. 1,113 experts officiated the event.
About competition
The final of the 7th National Competition “Young Professionals” (WorldSkills Russia) became a test event in the lead-up to the 45th WorldSkills Competition 2019 in Kazan. The previous “Young Professionals” National Competitions took place in Tolyatti (2013), Kazan (2014, 2015), Krasnogorsk (2016), Krasnodar (2017), and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk (2018).
Representatives of federal and regional governmental authorities, heads of enterprises and educational institutions took part in the Сonference programme on the sidelines of the National Competition.
