The Russian Junior Diving Championship took place in Kazan on April 11-17, 2013. 150 athletes from 13 cities of Russia, such as Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Buzuluk, Volgograd, Voronezh, Yekaterinburg, Penza, Ruza, Elektrostal, Saratov, Stavropol, Toliatti, Chelyabinsk gathered in Kazan for the tournament.
Among the participants were winners and runners-up of European and world junior championships. The athletes competed in 20 individual and 2 synchronised diving events. 33 judges officiated the tournament.
The competition was held at the Aquatics Palace, the modern sports complex, which had been built especially for the 27th Summer Universiade Kazan 2013.
