The Russian U18 Fencing Championships took place at the Boxing and Table Tennis Centre (2a, Jaudat Faizi street), Kazan on 6-13 February 2019.
About tournament
Over 1000 athletes from more than 40 Russian regions took part in the tournament. 35 judges officiated the event.
The tournament combined three sporting events: foil fencing, epee fencing, and sabre fencing. Athletes and teams competed for 12 sets of medals in individual and team events.
The goal of the tournament is to popularize fencing in Russian regions, improve skills of young athletes, and prepare the reserve team of the Russian Federation for international competitions.
