The XIV International Economic Forum “Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum” 2023 will be held from May 18 to May 19 at the Kazan Expo International Exhibiton Center.
About the Forum
«Russia – Islamic World: KazanForum» is the main platform for economic cooperation between the Russian Federation and the countries of the Islamic world. The main goal of the Forum is to strengthen trade, economic, scientific, technical, social and cultural ties between Russia and the countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
For the first time, the International Economic Forum of Russia and the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) was held in 2009, creating a leading international platform for discussing cooperation issues and implementing joint projects. In May 2022, 6,388 delegates from 64 countries of the world and 59 regions of Russia took part in the events held as part of the summit. In 2023, President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin signed a decree on giving the event a federal status.
The keynote of KazanForum 2023 will be economic partnership in modern realities; among the key topics of the business program are: international cooperation, sustainable development, industry, Islamic finance, halal industry, youth forum, entrepreneurship, business opportunities, diplomacy, technology, logistics, investment, women’s perspective, education, medicine, sports.
