All-Russian Urban Games will be held from 13 to 17 July in the URAM Extreme Park

In July 2023, Kazan will once again welcome the fans of extreme sports. The URAM Youth Extreme Park will play host to the Fourth All-Russian Urban Games MATCH!, which traditionally gather hundreds of athletes from all over Russia. The collection of entries to participate in the Games has launched on the official website of the competition — urbangameskazan.com.

About 1,000 athletes from more than 40 regions of the Russian Federation are expected to participate in the “Urban Games MATCH!”. They will be competing in the following sports: basketball 3×3, cycling (BMX freestyle park, BMX rhythm track), roller sport (skate cross, high jump), skateboarding (street, park), dance sport (breaking), and scooter sport (freestyle park and freestyle street). Competitions will also comprise the demo sports, such as workout (air-power athletics), floorball 3×3, teqball, and footvolley.

What is more, Speedrun competition and Phygital skateboarding tournament will make part of the “Urban Games MATCH!” programme, where the participants will first showcase their skills in a computer game and then compete in a street (2-5-3) format.

All-Russian Urban Games debuted in the URAM Youth Extreme Park in the summer 2020. Since then, more than 4,000 athletes from different regions of the Russian Federation joined in the games as the participants and are now happy to come to Kazan to demonstrate their skills.

This year, the MATCH TV channel has become the general partner of the Games. The “Urban Games MATCH!” will be broadcast on the MATCH TV-branded channels.

“Urban Games MATCH!” are held by the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation together with the Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan and All-Russian sports federations in order to popularise sports and sports lifestyle.
