Group А
One Move – LGD Gaming – 0:2
On the first map, LGD Gaming received signature heroes in the second and third positions, which allowed it to seize the advantage and systematically increase it. At the 30th minute, the players of the Chinese team entered the One Move base and destroyed the throne. The score for the frags is 7:35.
At the beginning of the second map, One Move took over the initiative and took revenge. Aggressive and confident play allowed the Russian team to create an advantage in gold and frags by the 30th minute (23:10), but attempts to enter someone else’s base were unsuccessful. During one of the attacks, the One Move players made a mistake and lost the hero of the first position. After that, the Chinese athletes ended the match with a victory.
“We knew we had to win 2-0, and that’s what happened. To do this, we simply followed the chosen strategy. It was more difficult in the second game, but the opponent gave us a chance, which we took advantage of and made several successful attacks. After the game, we plan to go for a walk around Kazan, since we haven’t had time to do it yet,” LGD Gaming player Xiong Pyw Jiahan shared.
Winter Bear – Entity – 0:2
On the first map, the European-Indian Entity successfully played an early game and after the 30th minute actively destroyed the opponent’s base, completing the map with a score of 23:9 in its favor. The playmaker of this meeting was the player of the third position of the Entity, Russian Dmitry DM Dorokhin.
On the second map, Winter Bear imposed a fight, before switching to the average game, the number of enemies and gold for the teams was equal. After midgame, Entity collected the necessary items and began to dominate half of the Iranian cast. The map ended in 32 minutes with the victory of Entity.
“We didn’t know much about the opponents, but I saw that they took the map from guys like Nigma Galaxy, so I just banned them those heroes with whom they won. It was more difficult on the second map, but we started farming forest creeps in enemy territory and constantly fought there. We managed to squeeze them and win. Now we are preparing for LGD Gaming,” said Dmitry Fishman Polishchuk, captain of Entity.
The following will play on February 20:
For reaching the 1/8 finals
10:00 Moscow time
One Move – Winter Bear
For reaching the 1/4 finals
13:40 Moscow time

Echpo4mak – Invictus Gaming – 0:2
The debut map started actively, iG was in the lead. A great game was shown by the carry of the Chinese team Du Monet Peng, who managed to build a farm and participate in battles so that he almost reached 1000 gold per minute. As a result, the map ended in 24 minutes with a score of 39:7 in frags in favor of iG, whose players broke the throne on the basis of the Russians.
On the second map, Echpo4mak showed a high-quality game to find the opponent’s heroes, the farm and the overall advantage remained on the side of the Chinese team. It took iG players 30 minutes to collect the necessary items, impose a decisive fight on the Echpo4mak base and end the series in their favor.
“Both the first and the second games turned out to be easy for us. It would be nice to meet in the match for the first place in the group with beastcoast. And the “echpochmaks” are very good!” said Invictus Gaming player Ye BoBoKa Zhibiao.
beastcoast – Neon Esports – 0:2
Neon Esports held an excellent draft, thanks to which it systematically crushed opponents from South America. By the 30th minute, the Peruvians had no chance to stand, the final score for frags was 9:34. The second map almost completely repeated the scenario of the first one – excellent drafts from Neon Esports and it took only 28 minutes to destroy the opponent’s throne.
“We expected a 2-0 victory, so we are very glad that everything worked out. We trained a lot before the tournament, especially with teams from Eastern Europe, and also watched recordings of future opponents’ games. That’s why we were able to win both maps in the drafts, beastcoast just weren’t ready for our ideas. I’m glad that we came to iG in the match for the first place in the group, because I’m a fan of them, I’ve watched a lot of games, and now I really want to beat them,” commented Neon Esports captain Travis Castaway Waters.

L1ga Team – Xtreme Gaming – 0:2
The young team of the famous Russian player Roman RAMZES666 Kushnarev performed well at the start of the meeting against an experienced Chinese team. Then Xtreme Gaming began to beat back the advantage, and by the 30th minute they were leading in gold and items. In the decisive battle, all the heroes of the L1ga Team died and lost their ransoms.
On the second map, the Chinese team corrected mistakes and showed such a draft with execution that the L1ga Team could not adapt and resist. The game was dictated by Xtreme Gaming and ended in 23 minutes with a score of 7:27 on frags.
“We had enough time to fly in and rest after the Dubai tournament. We also prepared and trained with other Chinese teams. The L1ga Team performed well and showed a great game, but we turned out to be stronger. During the break after the first map, we discussed our mistakes, gathered and did everything right. We don’t know much about possible opponents in the match for the first place in the group – we haven’t met with BOOM Esports, but we played with Geek Fam, this is a strong team,” Xtreme Gaming leader Guo Xm Hongcheng shared.
Geek Fam – BOOM Esports – 1:2
Geek Fam began the confrontation with the team from South America with several successful frags and the subsequent domination of gold. Seizing the advantage, the Asian team confidently increased it, pinching BOOM Esports in its half, and was able to finish the game after the 40th minute.
The second map followed a similar scenario, but the teams switched roles. BOOM Esports has been finding great frags for a long time, and after the 30th minute it managed to get ahead in gold and the series moved to the third map, for the first time at Games of the Future.
In the decisive confrontation, the teams tried to farm more and not engage in risky battles. Only after the 22nd minute, BOOM took the lead by 10 thousand gold. The result was a long battle at the Geek Fam base, where carry BOOM Christian Pakazs Savina made the first “rampage” (killing five heroes) of the tournament and ended the game in favor of his team.
“We had a busy month of qualifying, we did a good job, gathered at the bootcamp in Malta and prepared for the performance at Games of the Future. We are happy with our drafts on the second and third maps, this is what allowed us to win,” Christian Pakazs Savina told.
The following will play on February 20:

L1ga Team – Geek Fam
For reaching the 1/4 finals
20:00 Moscow time
Xtreme Gaming – BOOM Esports

Hydra – Azure Ray – 1:2
At the start of the first map, Azure Ray managed to lead in gold. But Faceless Void, a strong hero for team battles, did not allow this advantage to develop, which allowed Hydra to win an important battle in the 30th minute and take the lead in gold and items. After the collision on the 42nd, all the heroes of Azure Ray died without ransom. The first map went into the Hydra asset.
On the second map, an excellent game from Azure Ray carry Low Lou Zheng, who performed on the Arc Warden hero suitable for the late stage, allowed the Chinese team to win fundamental battles and even the score.
On the third map, Azure Ray was fully revealed – the team was building up the advantage at almost a rate of 1000 gold per minute. A confident victory for the Chinese team in 25 minutes and with a score of 29:4 on frags.
“We were in a hurry on the first map, so we couldn’t show ourselves well. The second one was difficult at first, but we pulled ourselves together, and thanks to teamwork, we were able to finish the game in our favor. We are not thinking about the upcoming opponent in the match for the first place in the group yet, the main thing is that we ourselves are ready to play, and then there will be no difference who will come out against us,” said Azure Ray mider Jen Ori Jiaoyang.
PSG.Quest – Thunder Awaken – 2:0
On the draft of the first map PSG.Quest was able to take to carry Aybek TA2000 Tokayev, the hero of Meepo, who is able to quickly gain power and quickly complete the map. This plan worked – in just 23 minutes, the international composition of the Qatari team forced the opponents to write gg, the score for frags at that moment was 23:7.
The second game was not so simple. Both teams had a series of successful skirmishes until Thunder Awaken pushed through the rivals and demolished one side. However, in the 38th minute PSG.Quest scored enough items, won the decisive battle and took the match.
“While we were preparing, we played clanwars with other teams, watched recordings, and didn’t do much else. It was easy on the first map thanks to Meepo, and on the second one I didn’t play well from the 10th to the 20th minute, so it turned out to be difficult overall. We are going to prepare for Azure Ray now, we have thrown in the “skeleton” of the draft in advance, and we will finalize it in the evening. We are not afraid of them, the team as a team, we will just show our game,” commented PSG.Quest carry Aibek TA2000 Tokaev.
The following will play on February 20:
For reaching the 1/8 finals
16:40 Moscow time
