The Russian Swimming Championship was held in Kazan on November 15-19, 2013. The tournament took place at the Aquatics Palace. This swimming event was a chance for Russian athletes to earn a spot on the national team for the European Swimming Championships in Herning (Denmark) scheduled for December 2013.
Russia’s top swimmers gathered in Kazan, including those who had taken part in the FINA World Championships, which were held in Barcelona in July-August 2013. Over 500 athletes participated in the championship.
