The International Men’s Water Polo Tournament was held at the Burevestnik Indoor Swimming Pool (Building 33, Universiade Village, Kazan) between June 12 and 14, 2015. Four national teams – Russia, Spain, China and Georgia – took part in the competition.
The tournament host defeated the teams of Georgia and China and also tied with Spain. There was a play-off between the Russian and Spanish teams. The final result was 8-8. It was a draw, which was equal to win for the Russians due to a better difference between missed and scored goals.
