It hosted the FINA World Championships 2015, the 5th World University Canoe Sprint Championships along with the Rowing Championships, the Russian Rowing Championships for athletes with disabilities.
The venue infrastructure is composed of a sports complex, spectators stands, a referee tower, and a 2,000 m rowing course.
