Kazan Tennis Academy is one of the largest tennis sites in Europe meeting the standards of the International Tennis Academy (ITF). There is a total of 35 tennis courts on the venue territory: 8 indoor available to the public all year round, and 27 outdoor courts with “clay”, “hard”, and “sand” surfaces.
The Kazan Tennis Academy was commissioned in 2009. It was one of the venues of the 27th Summer Universiade that housed tennis and badminton competitions. In addition, it hosted the Davis Cup stages, the Kazan Kremlin Cup (ATP series), the Tatarstan Open (ITF series), the Russian Tennis Championship, the Yeltsin Cup (youth competitions) along with the Kazan World Beach Tennis Grand Prix. The competitions on the Academy’s courts featured such eminent masters of sport as Marat Safin, Anastasiya Myskina and Dinara Safina.
The Tennis Academy accommodates training camps, group and individual lessons, while the conference hall and lobby are used for the organisation of the meetings and events.
