V All-Russian Urban Games (URBAN GAMES) were held in Kazan on 5-9 September (competition days – 7-8 September) 2024. 1,380 athletes from 50 regions of the Russian Federation came to Kazan.
About the Games
It was back in the summer 2020 when the All-Russian Urban Games debuted in the “URAM” youth extreme park. Since then, over 4,000 athletes from different regions of the country have become their participants, who eagerly come to the capital of Tatarstan to showcase their skills.
Games programme includes the competitions in four sports: basketball 3×3, cycling (BMX freestyle park, BMX rhythm track, BMX freestyle flat), roller sport (skate cross, high jump, scooter-part, scooter-street), dance sport (breaking). The Games will also incorporate the exhibition tournaments in floorball 3×3, teqball, air-power athletics (workout), and skateboarding (street).
Among the organisers are the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan, Federal Directorate for Sports Events, and Russian sports federations.
