The leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series will take place in the Kazan Aquatics Palace on April 16-18, 2021. The competitions will bring together over 70 athletes from Russia, Serbia, Spain, Japan, Kazakhstan, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, and Belarus. Tickets are already on sale at the KASSIR.RU website.
This is not the first time the leg of the FINA Artistic Swimming World Series is held in Kazan – Tatarstan Capital has already hosted it in 2019. Like the last time, sports programme will last three days and comprise the following events: solo, duet, mixed duet, technical and free routines, free combination and highlight routine.
This year Artistic Swimming World Series will comprise six legs: USA (virtual event, February 19-21), Budapest (Hungary, April 9-11), Kazan (Russia, April 16-18), Canada (virtual event, May 28-30), Alexandroupolis (Greece, June 4-6), Barcelona (Spain, June 11-13). The top national teams will make it through to the Super finals by the number of legs in each event.

— Children aged under six including and welfare beneficiaries attend the competitions free of charge. When purchasing a ticket please have on hand the welfare provision document.
— Discounts are valid when purchasing a ticket at the box office of the competitions venue. Box office will be open throughout the competitions days. We kindly ask you to come in advance.

— Due to the threat of the coronavirus spread, admission to the venue is made in masks only, which should also be worn throughout the event. The organisers address the spectators with a kind request to keep social distancing, including at the stands with a seating arranged with every other seat left spare. Temperature will be taken at the entry to the venue. The event schedule is subject to updates.
Competitions history in Kazan
Kazan has also staged the international competitions in artistic swimming as part of the FINA World Championships 2015, Summer Universiade 2013, and the 2016 edition of the FINA World Junior Synchronised Swimming Championships. In 2013, 2014, 2018, 2019, and 2020 Russian Synchronised Swimming Championships were successfully held here as well.
