On 8-10 July, Kazan will play host to the International Forum of Consumer Cooperation “Youth in Cooperation: Uniting Resources for Industry Development”. The event is timed to coincide with two important dates at once: the 195th anniversary of the Russian consumer cooperation system and the 110th anniversary of the establishment of consumer cooperation in the Republic of Tatarstan.
About the Forum
The large-scale industry-specific event will become a key platform to conduct a dialogue on the role of youth in the development of the cooperative movement, to exchange the best practices, and to undertake the joint initiatives for the industry. The forum site will traditionally gather together the executives and young experts of consumer cooperation, representatives of government authorities, education and the business community, including international guests. A constructive dialogue between the generations of professionals will take the centre stage.
Within the framework of the Forum, cooperators will exhibit the unique products of consumer cooperation organisations from more than 30 regions of the country. A specific place on site will be allocated to the exposition of the Central Union, the Russian University of Cooperation, Tatpotrebsoyuz (Union of the Tatarstan Consumer Cooperation Organisations) along with the museum of consumer cooperation with a full-scale mock-up of a rural store.
The Forum’s business programme comprises round tables on topical issues of the industry development. The Plenary Session “Cooperative Ecosystem of the 21st century: Integration of education, business, and technology” and All-Russian Student Startup Contest “Cooperative Startup for 1,000,000” will crown the event.
The Kazan Expo International Exhibition Centre will host the Forum as well as the International Agro-Industrial Exhibition “Agrovolga” on the same days.
