A prominent gaming and lifestyle streamer, commenting many computer games Dmitry Dmitry_Lixxx Likhanov has joined the Phygital team – community of the active people feeling comfortable both in physical and digital reality. These are the good friends of the Games of Future project aiding the advancement of phygital sports.
Today Dmitry has 1.2 mln followers on Twitch, but is keen not only on the virtual communication. He is practicing traditional sport as well, such as martial arts.
“I’m so excited to be a part of the Phygital Team. I didn’t expect it at all! It’s so cool to get in on this hype,” Dmitry said.
Dmitry Lixxx’s initiation into the Phygital Team happened on the final day of the Phygital Games 4 ice racing.
Earlier the team has grown bigger with the MMA fighter Petr Yan, Olympic champion in artistic gymnastics Nikita Nagorny, race driver Nikita Mazelin, Olympic swimming champion Aleksandr Popov and Olympic champion-runner Yury Borzakovsky, Ironstar co-founder Vladimir Voloshin, cyberathlete Yaroslav NS Kuznetsov along with well-known streamer and bloggers Aleksey Stolyarov, Aleksey Pchelkin, Paradevich, Dmitry Osintsev (Recrent), and Anastasiya SpaceMita Bolshakova.

“Games of Future” is a new-format international tournament merging the contests in 16 hybrid disciplines. Each is composed of a phygital (physical+digital) concept combining traditional sport and cybersport or VR/AR technology testing both athletes’ physical fitness and technical savvy. The Event will be held in Kazan in 2024.

Phygital Games is a series of competitions in the phygital disciplines preceding the “Games of Future”. Kazan hosted the first Phygital Games on 21-23 September 2022 featuring four disciplines – phygital football (FIFA + futsal), phygital basketball (NBA + street ball), Beat Saber, and drone racing. The Phygital Games in racing (Assetto Corsa + karting races), wresting (Mortal Kombat 11 + MMA), and hockey (NHL 22 + 3-on-3 hockey) took place in November-December 2022. In February 2023 Kazan held the Games in cyber sport – Speerdun, Dota 2, MLBB, CS:GO, and Warface combined with laser tag.
