On 25-30 October Kazan’s Aquatics Palace hosts the Russian Swimming Championships. Within six days 700 athletes will be competing for medals in 42 events.
Swimmers from more than 60 regions of Russia submitted applications for the national tournament. Athletes of the FINA Development Centre and from the CIS countries are expected to participate in the championships.
Among the organizers are the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan, Directorate for Sports and Social Projects and All-Russian Swimming Federation.
