Kazan to host first All-Russian Street Games in September 2020

On 10-14th September, Kazan (Republic of Tatarstan) will host the first All-Russian Street Games. They are organized by the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Tatarstan with the support of all-Russian sports federations.

The Games were initially scheduled for June, but in order to prevent the spread of COVID-19, the competitions were rescheduled for September.

About 1,500 athletes are expected to participate in the first All-Russian Street Games. Russian citizens may take part in the Games in accordance with the regulations of the competitions. Participation of athletes included in the list of candidates to national sports teams of the Russian Federation and/or a constituent entity of the Russian Federation is prohibited.

The programme of the Games includes competitions in 11 sports: basketball (3×3), dance sport (breaking), cycling (freestyle BMX), parkour, roller sport, cheer sport, air power athletics (workout), football freestyle, skateboarding, and two exhibition performances – teqball and rope skipping.

It is planned to hold the Games at the Extreme Park, a new sports venue build in Kazan.
