Kazan’s Aquatics Palace (70 Sibgata Khakima St.) hosted the Russian Swimming Championships on 24-29 April 2022. Up to 800 best swimmers of Russia competed at the tournament. 100 volunteers and over 50 officials worked at the event.
About championships
The Russian Swimming Championships is a major national event that draws attention of all swimming fans. The tournament annually brings together strongest swimmers – Olympic champions and medallists, as well as promising young athletes from all regions of Russia.
The Tatarstan capital hosted the national swimming championships more than once. The tournaments were staged in Kazan in 2013-2014, 2016-2021.
The organizers of the Championships were the Ministry of Sport of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Sport of the Republic of Tatarstan, Directorate for Sports and Social Projects and Russian Swimming Federation.
